The California Violence Intervention Prevention (CalVIP)

One Watts Initiative provides employment and training opportunities to gang-involved or Affiliated individuals ages 18-62. All participants must reside in Watts, CA.

Initiative Program Manager

The One Watts Initiative Program Manager will enroll eligible program participants identified by the One Watts Interventionists or through external referrals.

Life Coach

The One Watts Life Coach will meet with participants at the One Watts Initiative Program office or designated locations provided by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA).

PROGRAM ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

Valid Drivers license or ID
Social Security Card
Proof of income
DD-214 Form (Veterans Only)
Career planning with a life coach
Proof of unemployment benefits and/or layoff letter
Must be 18-62 years old, formerly gang affiliated/involved and live in the Watts area
